Behind the Lens
My name is Jeff Pouland. Upon graduating from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2000, I spent close to two decades as a full-time and freelance photographer in Maine. There, I used my background in photojournalism to work for colleges, non-profit organizations, businesses, private individuals and several newspapers.
I founded Jireh Visuals after recently returning to my home state of North Carolina. Jireh comes from the Hebrew word YHWH-Yireh and means “The Lord will provide.” It is the name memoralized by Abraham when God provided a ram to be sacrificed in place of Isaac. At Jireh Visuals, my focus is to use the gift of photography the Lord has provided me to capture the images that will best represent clients in the areas of corporate photography, education, portraits and weddings.
